Peacefully yet centrally located in Skala Kalloni, at the heart of Lesvos island, Hotel Pasiphae offers a calm and comfortable retreat. We are a short walk from the sandy beaches, taverns, and shops of Skala Kalloni, with easy access to all of Lesvos’ regions and sights.

Opened in 1990 with careful design, Hotel Pasiphae draws inspiration from Ancient Greece, using marble, wood, and earthy colours combined with white surfaces. Rooms are named after figures from mythology and history, incorporating symbolic triangles and squares in their decor.

Our hotel’s name, “Pasiphae,” comes from the Hellenic words “pas” (everywhere) and “phanes” (the visible). In Greek mythology, Pasiphae was the wife of King Minos of Crete, mother of the Minotaur, sister of Lesvos’ first king, Makara, and daughter of Helios, the Sun—a fitting name for a hotel in Skala Kalloni, one of the sunniest places in Greece.

Our 60 comfortable rooms surround green gardens and a spacious swimming pool. Our rooms, including 53 twin/double rooms and 7 single rooms (with one double bed), offer a comfortable and clean atmosphere with a combination of wood, white surfaces, and warm colours. Extra beds and baby cots are available, and two sets of adjoining double rooms are connected by a middle door.

All rooms feature private bathroom with shower or bathtub, and quality toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning (also for heating), telephone, refrigerator, TV (on request, Greek channels), balcony or terrace with table and chairs, offering views of the gardens, pool, or Skala Kalloni area, daily thorough cleaning and linen/towel changes three times per week.

Breakfast is served buffet-style in the restaurant area near the pool from 7:00 to 10:00, with early and takeaway breakfast available on request. Our buffet features a variety of Greek and continental options made with fresh ingredients, including freshly brewed coffee, tea, fruit juices, yogurt, homemade jams, Greek honey, pies, and pastries.

Dinner is served from 19:30 to 21:30 in our comfortable indoor dining area or by the poolside during the summer. We offer a carefully prepared set menu consisting of a starter, main course, salad bar buffet, and dessert, using fresh and local ingredients. Half-board dinner can be pre-booked, or you can order the daily menu during your stay.

Our bar and poolside bar (open during the summer) serve a selection of coffees, soft drinks, long drinks, beer, whiskey, cocktails, local ouzo, and Greek wines.

Our hotel can accommodate smaller and larger groups, seminars, events, and conferences, and we are happy to assist with transfers, transportation, information, excursions, and experiences on Lesvos
