The North East Aegean Greek Islands ...

The North East Aegean Islands are situated at the northeastern Greece and some of them are situated really close to Turkey. Each has a different image, compared to other islands of Greece.

The main islands are Chios, Ikaria, Lesvos, Samos and Limnos and there are a few more which are smaller like Fourni, Psara, Lipsi etc.

Ferries leave in the evening for Chios, Lesvos and Lemnos, arriving the following morning. Chios and Lesvos also have an airport and Lesvos receives some international flights.

Less touristy than the Cyclades and Dodecanese, these islands are larger, with richer vegetation and in many cases more interesting culturally and historically. They also have some of the best beaches.

Visiting them, you shouldn’t miss tasting some of the local products of the islands! They all hide some pleasant surprises. Whatever your taste, popular or small isolated beaches, you will feel that your dreams will come true.
